A small, intimate experience designed to support healing through gentle movement, nervous system regulation, guided reflection, and meaningful ritual.
Limited to 10 participants
For many, Mother’s Day brings more than celebration.
It can bring grief, distance, confusion, or the quiet weight of experiences that were never fully seen or understood.
There is a growing language around narcissistic and emotionally unavailable parenting — but understanding these patterns is only part of the process.
This retreat offers a different approach.
Not just insight — but integration.
A space to understand how these dynamics may have shaped you…
and to begin working with those patterns in a grounded, embodied way.
This retreat weaves together education, somatic practice, and reflection to support meaningful, sustainable change.
ROOTED IN YOGA + INFORMED BY MODERN UNDERSTANDING
This retreat bridges traditional yoga philosophy with contemporary understanding of emotional patterns and nervous system regulation.
In psychology, you may hear terms like:
attachment patterns
core beliefs
nervous system responses
In yoga, we understand these as:
• Samskaras — patterns shaped by repeated experience
• Vritti — loops of thought and mental activity
• Ahimsa — practicing non-harm toward yourself
• Pratyahara — turning inward toward your own experience
Rather than analyzing the past, we work with how these patterns live in you now — and how they can begin to shift.
-
You’ll be guided through a clear, grounded understanding of common dynamics in narcissistic or emotionally unavailable parenting, including:
• Emotional inconsistency and lack of attunement
• Role reversal (parentification)
• Gaslighting and self-doubt
• Relational patterns like triangulation
• Conditional approval and over-adaptationRather than labeling or diagnosing, we focus on how these patterns may have shaped your experience.
-
Together, we’ll explore how these early dynamics often become:
• patterns of people-pleasing or over-responsibility
• difficulty with boundaries
• disconnection from personal needs
• cycles of self-doubt or overthinkingThis is approached through both modern understanding (attachment + nervous system) and yoga philosophy.
-
Through somatic yoga, breath, and guided practices, you’ll begin to:
• regulate your nervous system
• increase awareness of your internal experience
• interrupt automatic patterns
• build a sense of internal safety and choice -
You’ll have space for:
• guided journaling
• brief, supported sharing (no pressure)
• connecting insight to present-day patternsThis is not open-ended processing — it is structured for safety and clarity.
-
Through Yoga Nidra and restorative practices, you’ll be guided into:
• self-support and reparenting
• parasympathetic (restorative) states
• integration of new patterns -
You’ll walk away with:
• a clearer understanding of your patterns
• simple ways to interrupt them
• tools for self-regulation and boundaries
• a more grounded relationship with yourself
