As November's Beaver Moon rises, we're invited to reflect on the natural rhythms of preparation, conservation, and rest.
Traditionally associated with the season of preparing for winter, the Beaver Moon offers a meaningful opportunity to consider how we prepare for the demands of our own lives—and whether preparation must always mean doing more.
Inspired by the yogic teachings of santoṣa (contentment) and aparigraha (non-grasping), this month's gathering explores the wisdom of recognizing what is enough, releasing unnecessary expectations, and making space for what truly matters.
We'll begin outdoors beneath the rising moon with one hour of gentle, accessible yoga, mindful breathing, and reflection. As the evening settles, we'll move inside to the warmth and comfort of our studio for a full hour of immersive sound meditation, allowing time for deep rest and quiet integration.
Please dress comfortably for the outdoor portion of our gathering and bring layers for the cooler evening air. *Refreshments and gifts are included
